Surprised that Rutgers and Clemson didn't make it

Just seeing if anyone else is awake when it comes to sports.

Don't talk about that game with the spotted ball with the clock that goes the wrong way here either.

How is everyone doing in their brackets?

I'm not a fanatical watcher but I've caught a few minutes of March Madness here and there. Even with video review of some calls, reffing is still pretty bad. You can't video review a NON-call. And I've seen some fouls before a pass or shot that doesn't get called (sometimes offensive, sometimes defensive) and then they call a foul on the shot (almost always a defensive foul) even when there is no foul or a "nothing" foul. They can only review the shot-call, not the more egregious before-the-shot non-call.
.
Somebody wake me up for the last 2 minutes of the championship game.

I tuned in to watch the last two minutes of the San Diego State - U Conn final but the game was already over. From what I'm reading, it was probably over with around six minutes to go.
.
When I used to follow sports more closely, I'd know the big name, big game match ups.
1967 - SEMI-final, UCLA vs. Houston; Kareem Abdul Jabbar vs. Elvin "The Big E" Hayes
1979 - Michigan State vs. Indiana State; Magic Johnson vs. Larry Bird
1982 - North Carolina vs. Georgetown; (overrated) Patrick Ewing vs. James Worthy and Michael Jordan
1978 - Ohio State vs. Clemson; Gator Bowl; Woody Hayes vs. Charlie Bauman, and lands a punch.
.
Ooops! Woody Hayes was NCAA Div I Football, not B-Ball. It was still quite a match up!

Who would've thought that at the Final 4:
>  there would be NO #1, 2, or 3 seeds left?
>  THREE of the 4 have never been to the Final Four?
>  Coach Jim Larranaga (Miami) took Miami to the 4, exactly SEVENTEEN years to the DAY of taking little George Mason U way back in 2006?
