... that view of him blankly staring up.  It puts a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes.  My team isn't even in the Finals; I was just loosely following the series (it might be less nerve-wracking when one hasn't chosen a side, actually.)

I watch everything from NHL to local lunchtime hockey... I even have a pair of Bauers myself.

I KNOW it's a contact sport, but I also think it's beautiful and tremendously exciting.  But this... I can't explain what it's done to me.
