Ditto that! Ugliest game in Championship history!

brought back a 'little' respect to the Big East-Kemba Walker is a great player and the Huskies' D was too stifling to Butler, who couldn't hit a bear in the ass with a bass fiddle-lowest FG % in title game history-Calhoun is a great coach and I hope he sticks around-Hope all is well with you-1rob...out

but don't tell that to the cavemen who talk about how women's basketball isn't a real sport.  Tell that to Danielle Adams or Skylar Diggins or Maya Moore.

someone kidnapped the Butler Bulldog players. Congradulations to the Huskies. The matchup was still, in my opinion one of the most poorly played final four games I have ever observed. If I was not watching the game with my friends, I would have turned off the TV.

When they start alley-oop dunking and breaking ankles with cross-over dribbles, I'll watch em. Until then, I'd rather watch paint dry.

Dr. Naismith would not hesitate in saying who plays real basketball. It isn't about Phi Slamma Jamma.

While I am a much bigger fan of men's basketball, then women's (although I follow them both), this comment makes no sense.

You consider dunking to be skilled?

More time's then not the ladies game shows far more skill level and team play then their counterparts. It is a joy to watch.

early and had poor showings-UConn is the National Champion and a member of that conference-No doubt the game was a stinker, but I would attribute the poor shooting to great defense by both teams-While Kemba Walker didn't have a great shooting final game, he was fabulous for most of the season and was voted the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four and is a projected #6 pick in the  NBA draft-If you don't believe Kemba is a great player or that UConn provided a slight measure of respect for the Big East-and I'm hardly a fan of that conference, then we'll have to agree to disagree-1rob

the sport in many ways has become too much about athleticism, and not about teamwork and strategy. Albeit there aren't that many really good ladies teams, but they are getting better every year, and I would rather see a good ladies game than a good mens game anytime, simply because it is the game in it's purer form.

Probably should have made my comment a bit more clear. I meant based on sheer athleticism, the men are much more "fun" to watch than the women. The difference is night vs. day.

and I did opt for door number two. I stopped watching the game and started watching chicas instead.

Honestly, it was a very lackluster and not a very entertaining game, not a great way to end a very entertaining tournament

In winning the big east tourney, and the big dance they defeated 7 top 20 teams. To base their entire run on the last game is just plain silly. They deserved to be there, and they deserved to be champions.

Which they are!!
