George Michael died today. If you spent anytime in Washington DC you remember his show, which became nationally syndicated.

I guess we now know why he retired.  Man cancer SUCKS!  

His voice always reminded me of Peter Jennings in that it seemed so soothing yet powerful.  Just my take but it's a sad loss nonetheless.

Sports wrap up show that airs today should pay homage to the man who created the model. George Michael's Sports Machine was must see tv for the young and old who wanted to catch up on the weekend's sports happenings.
Rest well Mr. Michael and thanks for entertaining many.

Was synonymous with victory, especially during the '86 Giants Super Bowl march.  Sorry to hear this...
