Don't know if I could pick just one.
Baseball- Bull Durham or Pride of the Yankees.
Basketball- He Got Game or White Men Can't Jump
Football- Any Given Sunday or Remember the Titans.
Golf- Tin Cup or Caddyshack
Hockey- Miracle or Mystery Alaska.
Soccer- Bend it Like Beckham or Goal.
Boxing- Raging Bull or Rocky IV.
Car Racing- Talladega Nights or Days of Thunder

Actually liked "Mystery Alaska"

The Hustler and Color of Money.
Field of Dreams, Major League, Moneyball, Fear Strikes Out, Bad News Bears, and The Natural.
The Longest Yard (Burt Reynolds version), Any Given Sunday, North Dallas 40, Unnecessary Roughness.
One on One, Hoosiers, Coach Carter, Hoop Dreams.
Heart Like a Wheel, Talladega Nights.

I can't pick a favorite, but if you held a gun to my head I'd say Bull Durham

...and "Alibi Ike."  Cubs fans should like them.

I never saw "Rudy" but a lot of people seem to like it.

back in the late 80s.
"Long Gone" was an awesome baseball flick starring William Peterson and Virginia Madsen

"Dead Solid Perfect" was a great golf movie based on a Dan Jenkins book. It starred Randy Quaid and Kathryn Harrold.

It is a shame that HBO does not have them in rotation. Catch them if you can.

...to the Hank Williams song "Long Gone Lonesome Blues."  It's also one of the few times you can hear Teller of Penn & Teller actually speak.

I'd see "Dead Solid Perfect" again just to see Corrine Bohrer's swinging tits.

Corrine Bohrer's swinging tits :)

BigPap....it is a shame that Long Gone doesn't get more pub. I see all these "Greatest Sports Movie" lists and no one ever mentions it in the baseball category. IMO, it is the best baseball movie ever made.

If you have an hour and thirty to spare, catch it on youtube. Quality sucks but you will enjoy it.
