for those of you in places that allow sports betting.
My Hoosiers are playing at Duke tomorrow and are 9.5 point dogs.
We have one of the worst coaches in the country and my guess is we lose by at least 20.
I've lived in Vegas for 20 years and am not a gambler (sports, video poker, craps....nothing). One time I bet on my Hoosiers to cover and it drove me even more insane watching the game (I get crazy enough as it is watching them play). I won the bet but swore never to bet on their games again.
As long as we win, I'm happy....and there is no way I'd put down money on them not to cover....goes against my "religion." One year I could have made a fortune betting against them as I knew they had ZERO chance of covering in some games but there is no way I could bet against them.
If we cover tomorrow, let alone win, it would be a complete miracle. We're ranked # 338, out of 351 teams, in turning the ball over. They are going to eat our lunch......and supper.....and breakfast.
Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.
