They looked like they all had on Yankee uniforms. The weather was good and the obnoxious fans were all present. Who didn't get the memo? The most winning post season pitcher was on the mound, Arod was at third, Jetter was there.  Oh it is so nice to see a loss like this, fans leaving before the game is over. You gotta love it.

Well not you Yankee fans, but give the rest of us a little slack here. I know smoke is coming out your ears and your gritting you teeth to get to the keyboard.  But hey, this doesn't happen very often and one must enjoy it when one can.

I will say one thing about Andy P, boy pitching wonder. He went to great lengths not to step on someone's hand at first base almost risking injury to himself. Showed a little class while losing.

Ok, that's all I wanted to say, well not really but I'm tired from cheering and have a little concern I might piss off a Yankee fan. Wow that was a great game!

He only gave up 2 earned runs in 7 innings. Texas blew the game open in the 9th.

I also hate my crystal ball today. It is still telling me, the Yankees are going all the way.

and I still maintain that if Charlie Manuel had started Cliff Lee in game 4 of last year's Series on 3 days rest and pitched him again in game 7 that this was the Phillies best chance of winning-instead he pitched him in game 5-and the Yankdoodles won in 6-Cliff Lee is arguably the toughest post season pitcher ever-he's never lost- and to not use him in game 4 last year was criminal-IMHO-I hope Lee gets a chance to take on his old manager and the Phillies-and again it's always great to see the Yankee fans heading for the exits like rats deserting a sinking ship when the Pompous Pantloads in Pinstripes are getting smacked around-kinda warms the cockles of my heart-grin-1rob....OUT

would have won 95% of the time with the Yankee bats. Things like this happen in the post season. That's why it's so damn fun to watch. Has to be a tough loss for the Yankee fans.
