MNF game tonight I believe we will get a rematch of colts vs saints in superbowl. Peyton manning is just too good and if freeley is healthy colts have a great chance to win, manning is amazing, he will be greatest ever when he retires, sanchez has improved but I feel in his 2nd yr, having 3 good games in playoffs is too much,to expect. Saints will fix there ship, they did defeat steelers on sunday. Vikings and cowboys are done, who is left giants, bucs, falcons, please all 3 wont go far, to the board quote it, save this, in week 8 liorr has given his superbowl prediction, does board agree with my prediction?, payton is a great coach, giants I dont believe in.but I will still believe in,my jets and root hard for them and mr  excitement my vick eagles.

Manning seems to choke late in the season.  I expect the Steelers to be there.  The Saints?  Maybe, you just never know who is going to show up on any given Sunday, the team that can beat the Packers and the Steelers or the team that gets their ass whipped by the Browns. Last year they were consistent until the Cowboys game, they are missing that this year.  Ravens / Pats have a good shot, but if I was going to bet money, it would be on the Steelers

Under rate yourself.

Thank you
XLV = 4

Sports is a marathon, not a sprint. You can not look a season 1/2 way through and predict a champion. I am sure if you looked at the baseball season mid way through, you would NOT have predicted the San Francisco Giants to win the World Series (let alone even making the playoffs)

Yes, this week the Colts looked very sharp against the Texans. The Saints played great against the Steelers on both sides of the ball. Both teams, because of their tremendous play at the QB position will be in the playoff mix throughout. But slow down on proclaiming that these will be the Super Bowl participants (not that you would be going out on a limb in making such a prognostication). Way too early to make any such plausible prediction.

We are HALF way through the season. In 2005 for example the Steelers were sitting at 7-5 (that's 3/4 of the way through the season). The media wrote them off, proclaiming them an extreme long shot to even make the playoffs. What happened next? The won their last 4 regular season games, made the playoffs as a 6th seed, won three road playoff games and then won SuperBowl. They got hot at the right time. (and Hardy celebrated the "One for the Thumb" Championship!)

About all you can predict half way through the football season are the teams that prob. will not make the playoffs (the winless Bills for example) and the teams that prob. will be in the playoff hunt throughout. Anything beyond that is a total crap shoot.

and by the way I'm very good at it. I base my betting on it and manage quite easily to lose at a steady rate.  So far this year I'm only $150 short of being of within budget. I must have picked a winner somewhere. Well my kid claims it was the week he picked the NFL ticket and won $275 but I like to remind him the $275 is small potatoes compared to the $12,000 car wreck he had.
