Good decision by new management at Golden State.

ESPN is reporting that the Golden State Warriors and Don Nelson will part ways,  with  assistant Keith Smart becoming head coach. Nelson has one year left on his contract and is expected to retire.

Happens in all the professional major league sports. The Rooney rule in the NFL started the pendulum change, when it made all teams have to interview minorities for a head coaching job. Say what you want about the rule, at least it was a start.
