Dodger rookie phenom Yasiel Puig

so lots of talk about the all star game and should he be named. Yes, he's tearing it up, but one month doesn't make a career or for that matter a season. I guess I'm old school, they'll be plenty more all star games for Puig, if he continues to play at this level.

BTW, Dodgers swept the D backs and now only a game and half out of first place and Giants going in the opposite direction now 7 back. Maybe all that money Magic and his partners spent will pay off in the end. Long way to go, only time will tell.

He needs to prove himself. GO BLUE!

Yes, he has only played a month and technically has not "earned" his way on to the roster. Also, it would be unfair if he took the spot from someone whose only opportunity to be an All Star could be this game. (Not that we'd know who that player would be). Also, players have All-Star roster bonuses.

However, on the other hand, its an exhibition (I know, its for home field in the World Series, but let's still call it what it is; an exhibition). As such, fans want to see this kid play. He has come in and dominated (albeit it for a month).  Who knows what the heck he will be next year or in 10 years. But right now, he is the "newest star of the month" and fans always want to see what is new. I say put him the game.... It would be great to see him face Mariano in the ninth, down 1, 2 outs, runner on second....

this season, put him in. I don't care about small sample size, it isn't like being a 1 time all star will make him more money, or a better player. its a game that doesn't count, so let him play in it. who cares?

they can't figure out a way to ge this phenom involved in the all-star game???

bunch of old farts still in control. Either they change(one funeral at a time) or continue to slide(pun intended) downward to the bottom.
