So far that lineup change moving Berkman into the number 4 spot looks to be a good one

Way early to tell, but Holiday has been looking  horrible and maybe should be batting tenth. lol

Well he just walked as I was typing this. what the fuck do I know? lol

These errors are getting way out of hand.

The Cards can bust this game wide open!

Guess they can't walk them all. Damn

Wonder what the Series record is for errors in a game by both sides?  Now back-to-back homers from Beltre and Cruz.  But to me the stud is Napoli.  Hitting a ton, rolls his ankle over but stays in the game, then throws the awful Holiday out at third from his knees.

I losing money but I think you're right on about that. This is getting ugly, that is unless you're a Texas fan.

so there'll be a game 7.  Doesn't look good.

ugly, ugly game.

Not the way you want to lose, or even win a World Series. Of course I doubt the Rangers will care, Winning it all, even winning it ugly, is still winning.

Congrats to the Rangers.

Sloppy game, but great drama.

Now what. Who writes this stuff.

I sure felt a lot better with Berkman hitting than Holiday.

Win or lose, it's turned into an exciting game.

I almost tore up my ticket for the Cardinals to win the series. No less than twice they're down to their last strike and come through. I can't take these cardiac assholes anymore. Team of destiny or not, I'm hedging my bet tomorrow with the Rangers no matter who that dickhead LaRussa puts on the mound. I just hope it's Carpenter instead of Lohse the louse so I can get decent odds.

I honestly don't know what the hell I am going to do. Every single game of this series has been so much different than the game before. By that reasoning I would expect a 1-0 victory by The Rangers in fourteen innings. lol

Both teams have already thrown the kitchen sink at each other, how much do they have left? and how far can Carpenter go on three days left especially after throwing well over 200 innings in the regular season and another 30 in the postseason, how much does he have left in the tank?

I thought the books would have it at around even money. The home team has won 8 straight game sevens and I guess they figure the public will ride that trend. I don't have a good feel for this game either. I think La Russa treats this like an all star game and only lets Carpie go 2-3 innings.

I bet the Cards at 5/2 when we hit the final 4. Now I'm in the odd position of having to bet the Rangers today and still hope they lose, lol. The people who bet the Cards at 200-1 in early September have got to love this line today. I would sure as hell hedge if I were them.

If it was a sustantial bet, I would be tempted to hedge as well. If I had the Cards at 200-1 I would have hedged the moment they won game one and the series line moved by about 100 basis points I think the series line went from -165 to +135 after game one.

I will say the over under line doesn't seem to believe that the starters won't go deep into the game. I've got it at 8, under 15. so there is still a bias toward the under although Carpenter is on three days rest and Harrison hasn't gone past 5 innings in the entire post season and was shellacked in two of his starts getting only 2 outs against Tampa Bay and going only 3 2/3 innings his last time out.

As I said, tough game to call. On the surface a straight over bet seems to be the best bet, but I am a greedy fucker and unlikely to do what's smart. lol
