How totally cool was that?  It is so cool to see just how rough and tough it is in the hockey world.  I couldn't believe how much dialogue is going on during a game as you just don't hear any of it in the stands.  Hockey has to be one of the roughest sports out there and those guys play mostly for love of game as they are paid pittance to what the other sports pay.  

What a fantastic series that was!

Wow! Really enjoyed it. I've been a hockey fan all my life, and the sneak peak into the locker room and the uncensored sounds of the game were awesome.  Wish it lasted all season.

Personally, I thought it was better than any of the HK seasons. 24/7 really took you deep into the locker room and lives of the players during the regular season, not some ridiculous preseason games. We saw firsthand that Crosby can whine with the best of them, Ovechkin is also a yapper, the refs give it right back to the players in a fun way and the coaches really do have to coach these top level pros more than I ever thought.
But we also got an upfront look at how hard it is to play the great game of hockey. These guys get beat up every night and come right back at it the next day. They are the toughest athletes in all four major pro sports.
The cinematography, music scores and overall production were as good as it gets. Well done HBO.

What an excellent series.  Missed the first one, so am looking forward to it being shown again.  I've recommended it to all my friends.

Such an eyeopener as to what goes on between players/coaches and refs(had no idea refs swear at the palyers...MG!) in games.

Also, I presumed there was some swearing going on between the players and maybe from coaches but  Gabby (Bruce Boudreau) takes it to a new level. Who knew his name for the Caps was "shit bums"...lol
