what do you all look for in a Sports Bar?

i promised a friend of mine that
i would help in all aspects of opening
a Sports Bar. I thought doing some
mass inquiry, into what the average
consumer would like to see in that type
of club, would be a good start.

Big screen TVs abound.  No stupid sports on (college anything, or basketball).  Good drink prices and waitresses and female bartenders with the absolute legal minimums of clothing.  Oh, and betting on sports, but that goes without saying.  If the ladies are hot enough, an occasion college game could be tolerated, especially if she blocks my view of the television.

1)  Good food.  Burgers, wings, fried food, tex/mex, decent pizza from your own oven, sushi bar.
2)  Not just hot-looking waitresses with minimal clothing, but spontaneous wild stuff happening (at least after 9 pm when families with kids are gone) like wet T-shirt contests, bachelor parties and lap dance contests (just kidding).
3)  Theme nights builts around big sporting events.  
4)  Bring in sports celebs.  NFL stars, NASCAR drivers, etc. for autograph signings.
There's probably more but that's all I can think of now.

Virtually everything I like to do should not be done in front of children.

If OTOH you mean it won't just be a "sausage fest" with a bunch of dirty, smelly drunk guys and no women. In that case I am all for it. The problem with many if not most sports bars is that lack of female patrons. While I love to fuck bartenders and cocktail waitresses, you always have to wait for them to get off of work. You don't have that problem when the women aren't "on the clock" lol

I love the way you say "sir."  It is adorable.  I would love to lift a glass their to your friend, along with others on the board.  But if you are a scantily-clad waitress, I will not be able to stop myself from grabbing your ass.  I think your friend would approve.

Plenty of TV's with good visibility to see multiple games, as I often have several bets going on at the same time. Hot waitresses/bartenders are a must, and decent food is a plus. College football lasts for well over 12 hours on Saturday, and NFL on Sunday lasts almost as long, so a decent bite to eat helps soak up some of the alcohol. lol

I like being able to see the TVs no matter where i'm sitting. The place near me has 3o flat screens hanging 20-25 ft up high. They're all different sizes and the giant ones have the biggest games of the day playing which isn't always the local teams. And the volume is on for these games.  TVs across the top of the main bar playing all different sports  and I like the large booths with their own TVs.  Dude also has awesome jerseys and memorbilia everywhere.  Beer & Wing Specials and caters to 3 or 4 fan clubs not just the team the owner likes.

hot waitresses, big TVs, absolutely no children allowed ever, no crap sports on the TVs (soccer, gymnastics, women's basketball, etc... women's beach volleyball is always allowed),  football, football and more football.
