Hi everybody!

Welcome to our last weekly TER baseball competition of the year! A genuine thanks to all of you who played this year, and for once again giving me a perfectly valid reason to be on espn.com while in the office - I couldn't have done it without you.

Now, as you all know normally this is where I say you know the rules and 5pm Sunday in caps and all that, but we have an issue. Namely, as it's the last day of the season - and because I assume the decision hasn't been made, as they're waiting for playoff races to shake out but please correct me if I'm wrong - there is not currently a game being advertised as being shown nationally, which is ordinarily the game we would pick.

So, executive decision, we're doing Mets at Phillies for a number of reasons.

1. I'm a Mets fan and it's my competition.
2. None of you read this anyway, this is just me entertaining myself.
3. The National League wild card race looks like the closest one.

So, there we are. Now for the usual - make your picks before 5PM EASTERN ON SUNDAY to win 2 VIP days. As you will all know by now, while there is no tangible prize for selecting the Mets, as they are my team I will think far more highly of you as a person.

Your tentative pitching matchup for this week's game will see Noah Syndergaard on the hill for the good guys, and he will face Jerad Eickhoff for Philadelphia. Days have been awarded for last week's game, and as always, LET'S GO METS!

Uh, good luck, I mean. It was a typo. The keys are like right next to each other.

AL Race:  5 Teams within 2 1/2 games...  2 spots available (And that's not counting the Yanks who are still mathematically alive at 4 back!!)

The NL race:  3 teams for 2 spots

I like the Mets/Giants to get the 2 spots in the NL  and Toronto/Detroit to get the 2 spots in the AL

As a Nats fan, I hate both teams but the Mets have something to play for while the phillies are just playing out the string
