Case Keenum of the Houston Cougars will petition the NCAA for a 6th year of eligibility following a torn ACL which ended his season on 18 Sept against UCLA. The NCAA has granted a 6th years when 2 seasons are lost due to injury. Keenum was red-shirted as a freshman and was one of the names mentioned for the Heisman Trophy.
