Yes I too read it came down this morning.

I article in Sprting News  (on line) also stated that his name will remain on the campus library.
Shit if they are going to do the job they should do it right and remove everything that has his name or reference to him.

enough is enough. the man has been tarnished beyond repair. there is a point when you should just get off of his junk and let him rest in peace.

good in his day but what he did at crunch time-when it mattered-was let kids continue to get raped-Of course he knew Sandusky was a molester-you don't know someone for 30 years and not know he was a pedofile-I'm glad the statue is down and I'd like to see his name expunged from any thing at PSU-which he disgraced by not doing the 'right thing' when it counted-I personally admired him during his life but IMHO he deserves every bit of the disgrace that has come his way----

Are you saying nobody else knew? Why isn't everyone else having their entire lives tarnished? Its beyond a shame that we are picking oe scapegoat here, and it isn't even the man that did the most harm (sandusky).

they get on because they have power. what is one very important element of  power ? that's right it's knowledge. there is no way those directors didn't know for several years, or at least heard the rumors , about what was going on and they too did nothing. they are as much involved as anybody except Sandusky himself and they need to be dealt with accordingly.

That board is using JP, a dead person who can't defend himself, as the  scapegoat and it's sickening.      

Take down a statue of a man who did more for that University than anybody in its history ? i say take down the board and toss the ones they can prove had knowledge of it into jail.
