I was hoping Tiger would win another Masters, or at the least, place in the top ten.
  Perhaps next match.

In the hobby one usually does not put the ball in the hole.

Plus "slow play" drives me crazy in a bad way in a round of gold, It drives me equally as crazy sometimes in the hobby, but here it's in a good way.

There is baseball talk and usually one does not get a swift whack to the balls either.

No golf apathy here - it's just that between March Madness and the upcoming NBA playoffs, as well as baseball season starting, we didn't want to flood the board with multiple competitions and something had to get the short straw. We will certainly consider future majors depending on how the sports world schedule lines up. Did you have any ideas or suggestions on how you would like the competition to go? Just picking a winner seems like a good way to ensure no one will win to me; there are so many golfers in a tournament field and you never know who is going to have a hot weekend and who isn't, especially before a single ball is driven in anger. Of course we could do additional things such as guessing the winner's final score, closest to it wins, but that (to me at least) wouldn't be enough for a competition. Your input is welcome!
