Gonna be another Black and Gold SuperBowl

Are you kidding me??? Donovan McNabb is so far superior to Michael Vick as an established NFL QB its laughable. McNabb has led the Eagles to 5 NFC Championshiop games and 1 SuperBowl appearence. Michael Vick has won 2 playoff games. They played twice head to head in the playoffs, with McNabb's Eagles winning both times. Vick has never even thrown for 3,000 yards in a season; McNabb has done that 7 times.

What are you looking at to say McNabb can't touch Vick's talents??...Because Vick can run faster??? Yeah, that makes a great NFL QB. Dan Marino is one of the all time greats (unless you think Vick is better than him) and he prob. ran for less than 100 yards in HIS CAREER. I am not sure running ability really makes a great QB

Okay, let's look at passing. Vick is one of the most innaccurate throwers in the league (he completes about 1/2 his passes) Yes, Vick has a strong arm. Great. One of the strongest arms I have ever seen on a QB was Jeff George...not exactly an all time great.

At the end of the day, all Michael Vick really is is an incredible athlete who plays QB. But as far as comparing Vick to McNabb in terms of pure QB ability, there not even close.  

Now can the Eagles get to the Super Bowl before the Redskins?? Perhaps (although I doubt either team will). But that has nothing to do with the skill set of McNabb or Vick

the downgrade. And chances are neither will make the Hall of Fame. But McNabb is a least a contender at this point. Vic is just a QB who hasn't really done anything to warrant consideration over the Drew B, Payton M and Brady's of today's NFL.

He's mobile which is a double edge sword and has a good arm. Every time he take off on a run which I grant you is exciting to the crowd is damn dangerous. They want him to stay in the pocket. It's for his protection. Once he leaves the pocket he's fair game, the rule change. Protection in the pocket means he has less of a chance of being hit by a LB at full tilt. And there are LB in the NFL who can do that. The strong arm is another double edge sword. The more air you put under the ball and the longer it's in the air the easier it to knock down, intercept or just defend. Accurate passing is far more important. That what completion percentage are made of. Where are the stat's for deepest pass, longest throw, best arm?

Hardy is right to be great takes consistent performance over years. not a few seasons. Five NFC Championships, 1 Super Bowl appearance. There are a lot QB better or just as good as Vick and not near the record of McNabb.

You'll know how good he will be in 5 years. Until then he's a good QB with very poor dog handling skills. And every year a whole batch of new QB come out of college and usually 3 or 4 a year are very capable of replacing Vic.
