I don't have time for that long of a list! LOL

He and I have decided to disagree about the New Orleans/Atlanta game.

He claims that Atlanta will concede this game and simply move on to the next one to clinch 'home field throughout'. He also claims the starters will either take it easy or not play altogether.

I claim that a team will never gamble on the future. Take care of business NOW! I really think Atlanta will probably play the starters for three quarters to attempt their optimum outcome. If their outcome isn't met by then I can honestly say that I don't know what they will decide then.

WILL ATLANTA LIE DOWN? OR TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS AHORA!?

In all fairness(yeah i'm worried about that! lol)to Gambler, I hope i didn't misrepresent him here.

and you only misrepresented me slightly.

I don't believe there will be an overt throwing in of the towel, the fans in Atlanta would go beserk. The fact remains that it is exceedingly difficult to beat the same team three times in a single year, especially the defending Super Bowl champs.

The odds are greatly in favor of a third game between the two teams in the playoff, the road to the Super Bowl is going to go through Atlanta. and the Falcons have already beat the Saints earlier this year. The Falcons have a very easy game next week against Carolina that will assure them of home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

I am not suggesting that Atlanta is simply going to "mail in the game" against the Saints tonight, but IMO it would be in the Falcons best Super Bowl interest to not potentionally set a situation where they would have to beat the Saints three times to get to the Super Bowl. I believe that unless the Falcons cruise to victory without expending much energy (not likely considering the Saints are a very good team), I don't think the Falcons are going to pull out every stop, or show their entire playbook in order to win the game.

Because of that, I expect to be taking the points and the Saints in tonights game, I might buy the extra half point to get the line to three, "just in case" I'm wrong. lol

BTW, I am not so sure of my prediction that I will be placing any type of huge bet tonight, but it's still my prediction and I stand behind it.

Go Falcons!!! (just not tonight. lol)

Where have I posted that line before? lol

I'm only even right now. Nothing lost, nothing gained.

Talk to you from the Islands; maybe! LMAO
