If so, Manziel is guilty of violating NCAA regulations. The argument that athletes should be paid notwithstanding, rules are rules. Personally, I think winning the Heisman Trophy was the worst thing that could have happened to him. He was thrust into a spotlight that he apparently wasn't ready for, and has made one headline after another, usually for the wrong reasons. Team workouts have started, and the A&M coaching staff is in a dilemma; do they practice as if Manziel will be their quarterback, or do they give reps to the backups?
