Damn, just saw Tiger Woods was in a single car accident. Sheriffs Department put out a statement that they had to use the "jaws of life" to extract him. Just saw footage on SportsCenter, looks like the car rolled over and down a hill. His agent reported that he was currently in surgery with multiple leg injuries. Can't help but wonder if it's meds related and he was driving while medicated.
Will ultimately decide how this is covered and analyzed. I’m not a fan but always appreciated his ability, work ethic and sheer greatness. I feel bad for his kids too. Hard to imagine him playing at the elite level again seeing the front end of the Bentley.
Also, no skid marks or signs he tried to slow down. He's lucky to be alive and I'm sure his competitive career is over. Just a guess but I doubt drugs or alcohol were involved and I wonder if he was texting. It's typical for someone to forget what happened right before a traumatic accident, so we may never know unless his phone was recovered and the texting history extracted.
