Jeter broke his ankle last night, and will be out for the remainder of the post season.
As I’ve said before, one person does not make an entire team. However Jeter is a very important part of the team so the YANKEES really have to step it up now and get those damn bats going and I mean really going. They need to start getting hits with men in scoring position, something that they have not been doing.
I have the utmost respect for Derek Jeter, and am sincerely saddened that he was injured, I am ecstatic that my Tigers are up two games to none in the ALCS. Yes, the series is still a long way from over, but the Tigers return home for the next three games (if necessary), where they were 50-31 during the regular season, with Justin Verlander taking the mound for Game 3. I definitely like their chances. GO TIGERS!!!
In an effort to ward off the Yankee fans, the umpire completely blew the call in the 8th inning of Game 2; no doubut about it.
