I have made several bets with co-workers that Tiger will lead the tour money list this year.   I predict he will have 4 wins, and at least 1 major.  He has taken his licks (so to speak) and is healthy for the first time in 5 years.

He will win again but the jury is still out if he will ever return to fourm. A major, I don't know. He has a new swing coach every 6 mos. I think he worries about the gears and wires of the game and not the game.

His problems are between his ears, not his swing. That much harder to fix and sometimes you can't. Kind of like Daily, what a train wreck.

There are two many good players trying to be great with more than saw dust between their ears. It's about time a new unknow 20 something took over. Sooner or later it will happen.

Just as when Mike Tyson started going downhill when he got rid of Kevin Rooney as his trainer, Tiger started going downhill when he got rid of Butch Harmon. I think Haney's a great swing coach but not in Butch's league. A golf swing is difficult enough as it is and he needs to simplify things.

Butch Harmon is a top flight swing coach. I don't know much about Haney but I think TW had a swing from Harmon he wasn't willing or able to maintain.  It's kind of like David Letterbetter. Great instructions if you can do it but few really can.

I do agree at this stage of his game a simpler swing would be best. Somehow I think he still wants the big drive game. High angle launch with max carry. 295 to 300 soft fade and a super short game with a better that average putter will win more tourneys than all the power players.

I noticed they chocked the fairways at Torey Pines. Just past the 310 mark the fairways were narrowed a lot. If Phil would drop his ego, hit the ball about 300 or even less and rely more on solid iron play and the putter he could be number 1 in the world. Hell he would have been number 1 in the world for the last 4 or 5 years.

Just my opinion.
