Dear Everyone,

Well, it’s finally here!!!!!

I was trying to figure out when my last new photo was taken…  I can’t!  It’s been years.  Well, this was taken last week!  (I just love that outfit!)  I am so, so proud of it!  Why?  Well, first of all, doesn’t it look like all my old photos?!?!?!?!  I mean, REALLY!!!!  I am dumbfounded that I really look the same!  In fact, this is one of the reasons that I have been so behind in updating things.  Every time I have asked someone, they said the same thing:  that I didn’t need an update!  (Other than for variety, of course!)  As girls can be, I only half-believed them, but took the compliment!  Anyway, here is the proof!  Secondly, there is ZERO editing on my skin!  I repeat, ZERO!!!  There is ALWAYS some sort of softening, lighting/contrast adjusting, editing out a mar, etc. in a photo….  NOPE!  Not in  this shot!!!!!  Nothing at all!!!!!  Yes, I blurred the background, otherwise the wrinkles in the sheets were, blah, but then when I went to soften my skin/body, I didn’t like it!  I tried several filters, but I kept reducing and reducing the intensity, until I was left with basically nothing, and then in the “preview” window, truly NOTHING looked the best!!!!!!!!!!  Honestly, and not to give away a secret, this is probably the only photo ever to have ABSOLUTELY ZERO editing over my skin.  WTF?!?!?!?!?!  I am supposed to be older!  Maybe it’s all those days lathered up and playing in coconut oil?!?!?!  Maybe it’s something else!  (Mmmmm……)  But, in the end, I simply can’t believe it!  There are a few other nice shots from this photo shoot that I will slowly leak out week by week, and I plan to do something more comprehensive as we move into spring and summer.

Anyway, in the meantime, enjoy this.  I will be marveling at it myself for quite some time, I expect!
