Both agencies & independents have their "good" points and neither should be discounted and favored over the other.

Can't we all just get along ????? And recognize each other's individual appeal ?

When an agency such as GoE gets busted its BIG news and the possibility of felony charges and receiving the names of the Johns that use that agency.

But when Independent normal gets busted no one hears about it’s usually just a misdemeanor.

That is not true, at least in Portland. I know first hand. A friend of mine was an independent. She got cought in a sting operation. One of the first thing thay asked her was who answered the phone. She said she did. BAM...now it's a felony he said and that is what she was charged with. If she had been with an agency then it would have been a misdemeanor charge. This happen in 2002 in Portland Oregon and I don't think things have changed.

If you are the kind of guy that has those occasional impulse urges, most independents, especially the popular ones, would usually have you wait a day to a week before you can see them even if you're repeat client (at least in my experience). Agencies are rather brief with the "verification" process if first time, and can usually set appointments same night.

I figure, if I had to wait more than 3 days, then I might as well wait for my girlfriend to come back into town ;P

It is up to us to deliver in what we want and how.. Choice is to the individual user in how we do it…

If its a lady I wanna see, then I'm gonna see her...

Indy or Agency, it just doesnt matter...

If she is hot, she's hot. If she is not, she's not.
Over time many providers move from indy to agency to indy, etc.
If she is a favorite I will follow her.
In most cases agency is an agreement between the provider and an agent, not the client. There is one local agency that is not very client friendly, I hope the ladies of that agency go indy or find a better agent. Opps, I forget they are not encouraged to read the boards. I wonder why?

Again what LE said is that they usally go after money laundering and tax envaison.
