When YMMV should be used in reviews

I have noticed more frequent use of the term "YMMV" in reviews when listing available activities.  Some reviewers seem to say YMMV every review where something special goes right.  In my reviewing, I say YMMV either when told "I normally don't do that but I will for you" or on the other side of the coin, when past reviews say she does something that is not not offered to me during my visit.  Never have I said YMMV when something is freely offered, as I can't speculate whether it is routine, or not.  In my mind, overuse of YMMV when not well founded can can steer hobbysts away from otherwise open- minded ladies.  Other reviewers, what say you?

I do think that for specific acts, saying YMMV is a common courtesy to the provider.  Simply put, a provider may change how they operate over time, for example providing BBBJ and then switching to Covered later in her career. Also, the size and shape of client can determine if some positions  are even possible.  For example, I used a certain position, which I freely offered to an oversized client, however, because of the difficulty of this position, I don't usually perform it.  YMMV should be used for very special techniques I think, or if there was  discussion indicating that it was specially performed for the client personally, just as you said.

Alena, that is a well spelled out and reasonable analysis.  Another related point is that some providers may ask that certain activities not be reported in reviews, and in my opinion, those limits should always be respected, and not be trampled on by a YMMV.
