Here's my two cents.A nice place to stay - depends on your budget. The Westin, The Alexis and The Sorrento are very nice but pricey. The Silver Cloud on Lake Union has an excellent view and large Jacuzzi tubs at a much more affordable price.Nite spots - Many establishments in Pioneer Square and at The Seattle Center.  Any really good restuarants -- Canlis and Ruth Chris and Daniel's Broiler on Lake Union are pricey but the food is excellent. I like Benihanna and The Space Needle Restaurant. There are a number of excellent restaurants on Lake Union including Chandler's and The Blue Water Bistro. On the Waterfront, many nice seafood places. The Dinner Cruise and the Dinner Train are unique experiences.

Rent a kayak and take a paddle on Lake Union...Go to Marymoor park and watch the dogs romp...Have a nice dinner at the Pink Door, order a marguerita...Catch a doubleheader at the Safe...Take a ferry to Bainbridge, just to get out on the water...Drive to Snoqualmie pass and hike up the Snow Lake trail...Put on your blue eye shadow, false eyelashes, glitter makeup and shake your BOOTIE at Polly Esters...Visit the zoo, say hi to the baby elephant...  Take a booze cruise on Lake Washington...Have dinner at the 13 coins (Seatac or downtown), ask to be seated at one of the stools...Stay at the Four Seasons...Try rockclimbing at the flagship REI (anything to get you in a harness! LOL)...Stay at a capitol hill B&B...Fly a kite on Kite Hill in Magnuson Park...Visit the Soundgarden in Magnuson Park...Stroll Pike Place market, eat some fresh strawberries...Check out a show at the Showbox, bring earplugs...Get tickets to the Seattle Rep, whatever's playing...Take a jog on the Burke-Gilman...Don't miss the Sargent Show at SAM...Bring your rollerblades and do the Green Lake loop...Stay at the Salish Lodge, be reminded of "Twin Peaks"...Take a tour of the Redhook Brewery, designate a driver...Shop til you drop at the downtown Nordstrom's, it's tradition...Shop til you drop in Belltown, for your actual clothes...Pub crawl pioneer square, NOT during mardi gras...Have a wacky dinner at Entros...Visit the UW campus, see the cherry blossoms...Hear a concert at Benaroya, see the Chihuly chandelier...Eat dinner at an Ethiopian restaurant in Rainier Valley...Share a booth with a friend at the Lusty Lady, avoid touching the walls...Visit the aquarium, watch the sea-otters play...Have brunch at Uncommon Ground cafe, order a scone...But most importantly...Have fun, stay safe, and leave the lights ON!!Iceman--modified by Iceman at Fri, Apr 27, 2001, 10:39:08
