Dear Staff and Readers,

Out of curiosity, what is the distinction between a strip club and a hostess club?  I'm not familiar with what a hostess club is, or offers, nor am I aware of any in Seattle.  

Anyone know about these?  I'm assuming this is more of an International phenomenon, along the lines of the bars cum escort services that I've read about in say, Bangkok or Budapest?
