As I approach the ninth anniversary of my first participation in this crazy dance, looking back, most of my hobby "career" has involved the lovely ladies of Seattle.  With very few exceptions, it has been a great ride.  So many lovely memories to cherish!  

Lately, due to some well intentioned but somewhat misguided efforts in DC, with unintended (perhaps) consequences,  it seems that the sea state in this little corner of society is becoming a bit choppy.  Today I heard an old song by one of my favorite troubadours, with lyrics that seem apropos.
