Before the invention of the Netscort, before the introduction of the Internet, provider business in Seattle was fairly traditional. We had the yellow pages, a few massage parlors, the street and good old fashioned word of mouth.
Few remember the most imaginative forms of entertainment, the Body Paint studios and Topless Pool halls!  

Some of you who’ve been around a while must have seen or visited a Body Paint shop.  Now understand we’re going back to the 60’s so prices were pretty good by today’s standards.  The gig went something like this.  For $25 you got a private room with shower, a woman dressed in a string bikini and a card board egg carton with up to twelve colors of paint.  Some shops featured florescent paint under black light.  You had thirty minutes to paint a masterpiece then watch the young lady shower off.  Of coarse other activities were known to occur but keep in mind it would cost you extra just to get the bikini off.

One sport that lasted up through the 70’s was Topless Billiards.  A little more pricey but much more fun.
$50 equaled one private room, thirty minutes of play and one topless lady.  The game was simple Eight Ball but the challenge was the best part.  The ladies would often challenge a gentleman to Strip Pool.  For every ball you sank she removed more clothing.  However for every ball she sank you also had to remove something.  During this “get to know you“ process other little games would be invented!  Keep in mind that these ladies shot pool all day and almost everyday so your odds of winning would not be easy.

I really miss these colorful forms of adult entertainment.  I’m sure someplace they still exist.  Now if I could just remember the details of the mud wrestling joints.
