Every once in a while I see bad reviews and really feel sorry for hobbyists who clearly didn't feel like they got their money's worth.  In some cases there are a number of bad reviews linked to the same provider.

Do these guys simply take their chances on providers with poor reviews thinking they'll have better luck, or do they discover review sites like TER after a bad experience?

If the former, why not put a message on this discussion board that says: "Guys, I took one for the team and had a bad experience with (provider's name).  See my review in the review section."

Could save a bunch of unlucky guys a lot of grief -- and money!
