I got a phone call today from a possible client. I have been trying to get ahold of his reference, whom I am playing phone tag with for about two weeks. I will NOT see anyone without verifying their reference. He gave me an attitude today saying "Do you want to make money or NOT!" and my response is that I don't need anyones money that bad to put myself at risk. This is a safety thing, this is what keeps me from getting murdered, beat up or placed under arrest. I will not sacrifice my screening process for anyone! If you as a client can not understand that, then I don't want to see you.
Shannon, you just keep on being tough in your screening process.....I just went through a month of trying to connect with my dream girl .I was determined to see her no matter what it took so I didnt give up and I found that after the process was over we were more comfortable together even though we were virtual strangers. If this guy doesnt appreciate the need for you to be comfortable when you meet, then perhapse his impatience is in need of a lesson...... By the way teacher, how is your french class doing? Any openings? After school exxtra credit? May I shi ne your apple? Buff your chalk board? But I digress.... ; )
