It’s my understanding that the ladies don’t care much about what you wear but rather how clean and fresh you are.  
Show up freshly shaved and powdered and she’ll baby you for hours.

Wear clean undergarments, a nice set of pressed trousers, neatly ironed shirt, and shined shoes.  Cleanliness is the basic order of the day.
