I think you still should make a basic no frills version of your site. Personally I prefer simple sites where I can quickly and easily get the info I want. I don't want to download flash or beatnik even if they are free.
Think of it as a resume and the basic premise of any resume is to give the important information not to demonstrate how many fonts you can use or in this case how sophisticated you can make your website.

This is standard in Windows 2000, this can be downloaded from Microsoft. It is Microsoft Virtual Machine. You can also get it at Sun Micro http://www.sun.com/download/api.javatech.htmlhttp://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/jre/ 2: You must have Flash 5 player from Macromedia.com http://macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash 3:Also not mandatory but fun, get Beatnik Player so you can here the music. http://www.beatnik.com/showcase/rmf_artists.html (upper right hand corner) I very much want you to be able to access my site, average page load is less than 20 sec. If you don't have Flash 5 player it will load forever and you will not ever get in! Without java you won't be able to navigate the site! Longest page load is Photos about 45-60 sec. Don't get me wrong, I love your site. But it's always nice to give the visitor the choice to opt out of the flash stuff, don't force it on them. Many folks either a) don't have flash, and don't want it or b) Just don't want to see the animation (they may be returning to your site several times). Have a way to click past it.
Lets be frank here, most guys are surfing straight to the pics, and the animations are just one more annoyance. I know I go back to providers pics often, to remind myself of what they look like, see if they have any updates, remember how they presented themselves etc. Flash stuff IMHO is a waste of time, rarely adds much value, at the very least have it be optional.

It could be my browser settings, but I tried to open your site and it crashed me, and even given me the blue screen of death. Call me old fashioned...but how about some basic html, like a table with three rows of clickable thumbnails?
I know, I know, not exactly pulsing with dynamic flair, but simple, functional, works across all browsers. IMHO, sometimes less is more.

Ok, Ok,..Never let it be said that I am not an accomodating slut... I mean Provider! As requested a no-frills plain ol html alternative. Of course there are limited pics, no stories, sounds ect. But you don't have to download anything and it could probably be accessed with Windows 95 and Internet Explorer 4.0!
