I was doing some research the other day and I stumbled across a ladies page that contained something different. To date I have probably checked out 100+ provider web pages. This one was a little different. Her appointment form had a couple of questions that made me think. What’s her logic? Does she have a hidden agenda here? Do I need to read between the lines? Is she genuinely concerned about me (someone she doesn’t know)? Somehow I doubt it.
The questions were: Are you in good physical shape? Any health issues?
Then it dawned on me! Yes, she could very well be interested in my health and doesn’t want to risk the possibility of a client coding during the main event. If that’s the case, she sounds like she possibly could be in the ExclusiveLee category of providers. I will need to remember my Gatoraide.
The thought that I had from this pondering is rooted from an old (January) dialog on TRB. It seems a hobbyist miss represented himself in size, which had a profound effect on the SPs ability to provide. Nasty things were said in a review followed by a nastier rebuttal. If body type of a hobbyist is an issue, it looks like this may be a subtle approach to determining compatibility. Has anyone seen these types of questions before?
I gave you my .02, what is yours (ladies & gentlemen). Post publicly, email me privately, or ignore.
Hate to be a downer, but IMHO (and I am a healthcare professional) the questions on this provider's web site probably referred to the cornucopia of STDs "available" out there today. I mean, not to overlook the grandaddy of them all, HIV (which can only be transmitted from direct contact with blood or body fluids -- why do you think so many providers will only do CBJ these days?) to the just as nasty but much more easily transmitted clamydia (silent and hard to detect, but in the long-term causes sterility and other problems); and HPV (human papilloma virus) for which there is no cure and is especially devastating to women. Let's also not forget our old friends genital herpes, syphillis, and gonorrhea, which are all on the rise. And last, those oldies but goodies hepatitis B (no rimming!!) hepatitis C (liver failure and no cure) and even tuberculosis (TB) which has made a dramatic return and is easily transmittable as an airborne infection.
I hope my little health lesson doesn't make you want to give up and crawl in a hole, but the sad truth is, it's a nasty world out there, and everyone has a responsibility to protect themselves and others. Providers see a wide variety of men, and they are totally within their rights to protect themselves from disease as best they can. If you could see the things I see at work each day, you'd either never have sex again, or go for a Woody Allen - type Full Body Condom!!
