Using references to a very very sad situation and travesty to all humans involved, is it appropriate to use tragedy to PROMOTE escort services?

Support and thoughts for the brave military over seas is very important.  To those men and women who are able to view the TER from your locations let it be known that we do think of you.

We should invite the "troops" to come play WAR w/us ?  Maybe something like "hey, go hide in the bushes and we'll blow you all to hell?".  I don't know .... when using an advertising line like "next week's shock & awe" for a marketing "campaign" in the adult entertainment biz, I find that way over the line.

I don't think there is any tasteful way to ADVERTISE adult entertainment services by using "war headlines" or "references" to the war.

I personally think it is rude, wrong and very disrespectful.  If you watch CNN for a short while and see the reality of the REAL "shock and awe" campaign, I would hope that any reference to that situation other than the utmost heartfelt sympathy would be inappropriate.


I don't believe that there is ONE G.I. in Iraq looking at any one of these boards !  For the G.I.s that are still here (not to mention wives & children), if they're reading the boards they don't want to be REMINDED of the war in a venue that is supposed to be where you forget the REAL world.

I dunno ..... I think Rebecca will know what I mean !  Where are you Rebecca?  And will ya send me that paxil?

I agree with you Maya... A good friend of mine who I hold dear to my heart is over in Bagdad as we speak....   He has changed my life and the way I percieve the world he has help me grow up and I just hope and pray that he comes home safely. I think it is sick to use the war as an advertising bullit.  Those young men and women want to home, they want some action in the bedroom, not in the line of duty!  So we should dupport them by sending care packages not by trying to make a few extra bucks off of it.

But your right...

These guys have told me that they want us to keep doing the good stuff...

Which doesn't mean reminding them of the horrors of war....
