Dear Everyone,

I am sending this note quickly as possible and not from my laptop.  I left my laptop back in Washington.  Grrrr!  I was so distraught that I packed up everything quickly and forgot my laptop. I even forgot my toothbrush!.  Luckily those are easy to get.  Nevertheless, I have not had the opportunity to get to a computer with no one looking over my shoulder until now.  I am hoping that whomever has written me will read this message as I don't have the time to write back to everyone individually.  Last week I received terrible news about a family member and had to fly out.  I am not going into detail about this, but let's just say it has been very stressful!!!  Why do things like this happen around the holidays?  .  I will be back this Tuesday, December 16th and will need a day to relax from the stress of the trip etc.  My sincere apologies to anyone who couldn't meet with me last week.  This truly could not be helped.
