My personal take, not that anyone cares, is that I have always found Miyagi's posts to be cute and entertaining. And Wood Yi's initial comment was just looking to cause trouble. However, the Mexican/Asian joke stepped way over the line. I thought our society had evolved beyond the "How many Pollocks does it take to...?" so-called humor.

There was just confusion because I post under the name Woody and I've had this racism issue with Miyagi before.
I'm glad you stood up to his bigotry and racist speech. I don't know why he thinks it's funny but he does.
I'm providing a link below. I hope Miyagi/gG reads it. He hasn't always pulled this fake Arnolds Drive in thing. Now he won’t stop. Bashing "Jews" has been a recent thing as well.

I have to say that I don't want to see flame wars like this. I don't think Wood Yi was "looking for trouble," but that he should simply skip over Miyagi's posts if he doesn't want to read them. Miyagi seems to want to fight over this, I don't see that as being very mature at all. Get thicker skin and lets all get on with life. (and racial jokes are never cute nor funny)

I have seen threads much longer than this that weren't spam, most of them were in the general disscusion forum. And if you think about it we went way off topic to get this far.
Both Wood Yi and Miyagi are wrong here. Wood Yi for starting the fight and making some rude comments to a provider here. Miyagi making Mexican/Asian jokes to get a rise out of Wood Yi.

As a woman who has not only asian but mexican heritage as well, I am pretty * offended by that comment.
There was apparently some major trouble regarding Doey, as all her reviews, and the messages regarding her, were deleted both from here and from the other local Seattle message board.
I suggest you to go the local seattle board, TRB, and do a search on Doey, there are a couple remaining messages which may hint at what the trouble was.

I am a Japanese American and I don't have a problem with Miyagi. I think we've gone too far with the politically correct. IF we continue with the current trends then life will become boring and hobbying would come to an end. You do realize that those that promote political correctness also are trying to stamp out hobbying. Lighten up all!

Miyagi/gG doesn't only slander Japanese Americans. He has made several disgusting remarks about people of Jewish heritage. He's said that they were cheap, had big noses and that's just for starters. This should not be a place to spread that kind of junk. Not only have I "been there" I am there right now. It is extremely offensive
As far as the Japanese American bad english act Miyagi/gG has going, that's very nice that it doesn't bother you. Unfortunately you aren't the spokesman for every person that shares your ethnic background.

While I think his fake accent is tacky (and his little jokes are just plain rude), what I'm most upset about is how Miyagi decided to attack Wood Yi for no reason. All Wood Yi did was express how he felt about Miyagi's posts, and Miyagi chose to act like a 2 year old. He said that if WY didn't like what he had to say then he shouldn't read it, I agree but Miyagi should have listened to his own advice. This shouldn't be a place for slandering each other, if you want that then watch Jerry Springer.
