I think the larger the Hotel, the less you are noticed. For this reason, I like The Westinghouse, or The Sheridan. ALSO, the Edgewater, which is right on the water.

The Edgewater is far from 3stars. If iwere you , i would wait till day before or even day of to book using hotwire. I have been travelling a lot lately and found tons of last minute deals there. Ie....4.5 stars for 75$ in Houston or 4 star Seattle for 110.

It's very easy to search through Yelp or TripAdvisor reviews of a hotel to see if they require a keycard.
