Last Thursday Karaoke night with Goli was great.  I tried to run a tab for us, but I think the house may have been charging twice (the tab once and individuals).  In the end, Randyguy paid for about a third of the tab also!  So for those of you who have thanked me, thank him too!  We had a great time, and I hope more and more people keep showing up.  Of course the rule is, you can't leave until after you sing.

"First of all, I'd like to apologize if I miss on some names, I was suffering from my first post-viagra headache that night (See my review below.) Still, I had a great time.
It is great to put faces and more to the people who post on this site. I really enjoyed talking to dillonsa, skyhawk, randyguy, horse of a different color, mr. greeneyes, and, of course, Goli. I always assumed that other hobbiest are chubby, balding old guys like me. What I found out was that I was the ugliest guy there and I really need to tip better!

For those hobbiest who haven't made the effort to get out to karaoke night, you've missed out on a great deal. Pictures on a website and reading reviews are noting compared with meeting, dancing and talking. Here is a synopsis of what you've missed if you are just relying on 2-D internet surfing:

Cindy of Seattle. This woman can SING! She has a very beautiful voice, piercing blue eyes and is just plain fun to be around.

Seattle Rose. A very smart, giving and caring person. She gives of herself both inside and outside the hobby. And, she has a very electric touch. You can just feel the energy she has inside of her when she places a hand on your arm.

Tina in Tacoma. She has a great deal of class and composure. And, a little bit of a dry wit, which I appreciate. She had me chuckling at a couple of remarks that she made.

Caroline. What a smile! What a face! Her face is obscured on her website. If you hadn't seen her in person, you've missed out.

Clarise. What can I say. She has the moves. She was being naughty and suggestive on and off the dance floor. It was fun to watch the reactions of people not in our group to her. Talking with her you get a sense of why she was tapped to run the Dolls after Brooke -- she has a head to match.

Georgia. She's tall! (Are you reading this UhP?) And, she is very beautiful. My headache got the better of me and I had a to leave before I got a chance to really talk with her.

Mallorie. She's soon to be out of the hobby and onto other things. Just talking with her, I felt a sense of loss for what I missed out on. She's a native of my hometown, and I know that she'll always make it a better place.

I know that there was one lady from GOE that I wasn't introduced to, but I've forgotten who. Sorry.

Anyways, Goli has been bearing the load of arranging these confabs. We probably need to figure out a better way to distribute the load. Sign up a few guest hosts for these wonderful evenings, or something. I have an Uncle who had 4 children and adopted 5 more. His motto is "many hands make light work."
