You are a gentlemen that I have never meet and you want to call me up and discuss the services that I offer.  

A gentlemen that I have never met calls me up and starts talking about services. Gentlemen, for many reasons other than the obvious it is never wise for a provider to just start talking about the services that she offers. Especially with no opportunity to check referrals and wanting to set up a last minute appointment.

I gently said that I didn't like where the conversation was heading and that I never discuss such matters over the phone. Apparently this offended the gentlemen because I got "Well, I thought you were open minded but you don't seem to be." So I guess that you are not the provider for me. I said "ok," and the conversation was over.

Being open minded and being smart are two different things in this situation.

I simply am more cautious than this gentlemen. I have my personal safety to think of. If you are offended by a provider who you have NEVER met who does not feel comfortable talking about services over the phone then I am not the girl for you. By the way, I do and have talked about services I provide or, what the gentlemen wants me to provide over the phone with those I have already met.

Just be polite and considerate and for sure you will get the same.

Joleen, you are a sweetheart. Don't take any crap from some jerk that doesn't know how to play by the rules. You are a Number One provider and you don't need these kind of guys. You should be as busy as you ever want to be with regulars that you can trust. The guys in Spokane do not know what a prize they have. Come to PDX soon!

I would not want to see a provider who would discuss that with me openly without knowing me.  I've been fished out before and have lived long enough now to know better.  My last encounter with a provider was in the late 70's and was the last of 3 consecutive rip offs from both agency and independants that made me quit! or at least I thought I had quit!  Never again?.... never say never!  

To be able to provide a lady the security she must have and protect your "investment" as a newbie with no references is not an easy task.  It requires an immediate trust between two compelte strangers and that is not an easy thing for either one.

With my recent plunge back into the hobby and my 21st century budget... (I'm pinching pennies in comparison to the 70's) I was determined not to TOFTT, so with a little careful and time consuming research, I was able to find a woman that had all the qualities on my check list and from the reviews of her on this board and others, I knew I did not have to discuss details in order to insure I was going to get the best bang for my buck so to speak. Ya sure couldn't do all that the last time I tried this.  With no verifiable references (god only knows where they all are now and what their names are really) I did not think I would be very successful with my first try, however after several e-mails back and forth and giving her at least some confirmation of who I was, and what I was, a local provider agreed to see me for a two hour session.  Not something really within my budget but as it turned out... well worth it.

My point is simple.... we "Gentlemen" have the opportunity to read and research all the information available to us and there is an endless amount of it... we can see pics, read reviews, and lurk the message boards to find out who is attractive both mentally and physically.  The ladies do not have that luxury by any means!!  If you are a first timer.... be honest about who you are and what you are doing.  Play within the rules of the game and be willing to give a little more once you've done your homework and you know you are playing in the right arena for your tastes.  Then eventually the truly professional lady will find that her gut instinct is OK and your payoff will be a true friend that actually remember you and your first plunge!  She might even provide you a reference for your next time.

And as for the guys who originally brought this fine lady to make this original post... you need to go back to the SW... that is probably more your speed!  People in that world don't like to read either. (I don't mean to flame.... but the truth hurts)
