And what a gutless post, Mr. or Ms. Alias. Taking rude potshots at people asking harmless questions is sure going to get this board hopping, isn't it?

The truth is, while TER is a valuable resource, this particular board is very quiet. Dare I say, *DEAD*??? Compare our board to the DC or ATL boards. There you'll find lots of ads and lots of conversations. Not so much here.

Unfortunately, Seattle is a lot like SF in that there are local boards (which shall remain nameless) that attract the lion's share of the hobby-related attention (and, no, I don't mean CL). Don't get me wrong, I really like TER and I really wish it wasn't like this but it is. I can't blame anyone for trying to get the word out and make a living.

The question wasn't foolish - biz is slow and some ladies are getting desperate - but the reply was as FOS as the coward that posted it.

Hell, TER even runs ads for backpage.com - that's a pretty good place to start. If anyone wants a little more local info, feel free to shoot me an inbox.

Not a thank you or anything.  Kind of dissappointing to help a lady seeking advice and not get any acknowledgement.  Perhaps she is too used to CL to show some courtesy.  

If I helped her change a flat tire by the side of the road I'd expect a thank you, why not one for heping her with her business questions?
