I would have thought it was OK to quote from an email without permission, as long as identfying information about tIhe author is not provided.

I'm pretty new at this, but I was surprised by your comment, given that MP didn't reveal the name of the emailer, or the providers who were apparently trashing her.

I didn't mean for it to sound like a legal question, nor was I implying that MP was out of line.  Typically, whenever posts include any information taken from private email they're deleted, however in this case I felt that MP was simply informing the public.  You'll note that I supported her.

Knowing MP, I seriously doubt whether she was surprised by my question.

We just don't want to see flame wars here.  Some folks have very sensitive psyches.  Trust me, I've personally learned the hard way.
 
There are reasons why certain things are stated publicly and others in private.

The bottom line is for all of us to have fun!

So some insecure little close-minded sucio biatch wants to try to dump on you, in the end, who cares?  You are who you are, a strong, intense, opinionated, self-confident person, you know it, and anyone who meets you knows it.  What other people think or talk about is beyond your control.  I applaud you for your willingness to be outspoken and say what's on your mind on these boards and on your site.  I admire you for that, and appreciate that you care.

Do I always agree with your points?  No.  Do I think that you tend to self-promote too much?  Sometimes.  Do I get tired of hearing about EPE? Yes. Do you tell some tall-tales in your marketing? Sure.  But I respect you for being active, and being here.  Thank you.

As for rumors, I have yet to see a false rumor ever do anything to truly hurt a providers biz, or a hobbyist's ability to hobby.  Good, honest information wins out, every time.  You just can't fake it on the the internet.  Many have tried, they end up tucking their tails and scurrying back to eros or the weeklies,  never to be heard from on the review boards again.

So for all those lurkers and posers who believe false rumors or potshots have any impact: Guess what?  We're here, having fun, the money is still good, and the pussy is still served hot.
