THE BEST is the Sybian, IMHO. The price and intensity of this machine is not always for "a novice should start with". On the other hand, this is a toy recommended for pre-orgasmic women, and those wishing to explore multiple orgasms. In Seattle there are groups who will rent the toy to the curious (I don't have a link, but the info can be found by searching).
