For me there might not be a more romantic city in all of the U.S. then San Francisco.  
 
I love that salty bracing air coming off the bay, the ding-dinging of trolleys sounding far off, walking arm-in-arm with a companion to the wharf for a steamy cup of fresh clam chowder.  
 
How much better my time would be spent though in this charming old city with you to explore the hilly streets with, share a drippy hot fudge sundae at Ghirardelli’s or a warm cuddling night in our hotel overlooking the tight patchwork lights of the vibrant old town.
