For the gents:  How important is it to you for a provider you want to meet to have a website?   Does her website have any influence on your interest in booking an appt?

For the ladies:  Has having a website had an impact on your business, either negative or positive?

Peace...

Very Important. If you are looking for something specific it is sometimes not mentioned in the ad. For example I only see a provider with my wife so I need a provider who sees couples. Many providers out there do however I have noticed nobody mentions it on the personal adds they place. So I usually skip by them and look for one that does. I have noticed the girls here in San Francisco are a little harder to find than the ones in Vegas or LA where I frequent. Also multiple pictures help in the selection.

I agree with madman...the website is a great source to for more info.  I prefer personal website versus posting boards (ie. EROS or Cityvibe)- it just provides more of an opportunity to learn more about the provider, along with more photos.

For me, I also feel that providers who took time to design a great site is an indication of their attitude towards the business- they are more intentional in their success and that puts me at ease.

My .02

I agree with you.
A personal website by a companion often is an indicator of how seriously she takes her business and an indicator that she will likely make this a profession for the long haul.  Well, at least it's less likely she'll disappear next week!  This is not always the type of professionalism or sense of business commitment that one gets from a CL advertiser.  In addition, a website usually provides a lot more information about the escort than a post or a escort mall ad.

That's not to say that ladies without websites would be any less professional or stable - many of them are.  But a website just underscores things a little more.

Responses from the gents & ladies on this topic.I posted this on 7/26

Will do.  I guess great minds really do think alike... ;)

By the way, given how you had your own thread on this topic, how did you happen to find me?  Did you just stumble upon it by chance or something?

Just curious.  :)

Peace...

Thanks.  I currently can't read it but will as soon as I'm able to.  I'm currently a basic member.  :)

Peace...

but how often do you see a provider with a great website along with mediocre reviews and one who has no website and just uses either eros, cityvibe or backpage and has stellar reviews. i guess if a hobbyist is looking for something specific then it can be more useful but just looking for a great gfe then i believe no one can replace ter.

You know, I haven't done the analysis to determine the ratio of providers I've seen with websites and those without but I can say I've had great experiences with providers with no reviews, mediocre reviews, and great reviews. Not every provider I've seen has or had a website and those who do or did that didn't have consistently stellar reviews didn't provide bad service to me.  Thinking back at my previous encounters over the years, I've had more good to great experiences than not and I haven't read the reviews of most of the ladies I've seen.  I haven't reviewed every lady I've seen either.

I guess my basic point is I don't see a correlation between the reviews and having a website.  Any given provider with stellar reviews might or might not have a website as can any given provider with less than stellar reviews.

You do raise an interesting point, however.  :)
