Fellow hobbyists, I don't feel it is in any of our interests for us to post editorial comments on this board regarding how much a particular provider expects per session. As long as the rates are posted, that's good enough for any of us to make the decision to schedule a session or not to. We're a little spoiled by all the relatively cheap AAMP's but I, for one, don't want to freeze out top-line touring talent. If they come to town and can't scare up appointments, I'm sure they'll post specials and/or never tour SF again.
no one should say anything about outrageous pricing? A free marketplace is based on free speech and the free flow of ideas, etc. Some "top-line touring talent" may be worth the extra tab, and if so, that would be nice to know. On the other hand, if one isn't getting twice the service, why pay twice the going rate?
I agree that we shouldn't really comment on pricing in direct response to a provider posting. Let the lack of phone calls speak for us. Just don't want other talent to think we are cheapskates here on the left coast.
