Why don't strippers make good escorts?

The subject has come up a few times, and I've heard a couple of theories. Is it true that strippers typically don't make good escorts? Is the skill-set that much different? Or is the mind-set just that much different?

And as GirlCrazy suggests, do strippers pay a higher emotional price than escorts?

My theory has always been that strippers hate men!

They will do whatever they can to drain a guys wallet and they don't care. Most seem to have sexual hangups.

Hookers on the other hand love sex. Since they love sex why not get paid well for doing something they enjoy!

This is based on over a decades worth of research in both arenas.

Seems in San Fran @ MSC and other clubs you can get laid / blown / hand jobbed by strippers and the line is thin between provider and stripper as far as the "end result"  I have had a couple of ok times @ MSC but much prefer the times I have had with the providers.

Stippers when you try to connect seem to think it is time to unload all of there problems on you - while providers seem more interested in a two way discussion and mood setting.

Strippers are in it for the short term. The next 5 minutes. They know that they have to work hard to get that next 1, 5, 10, or 20 tip. Then they have to get you to the back room (more money!!!) After that - they pay a cut to the house. As soon as they are done with you they know they have to start working on the next round. The atmosphere of must clubs encourages the churn and burn. Guys sitting around paying 1 & 5 tips to have someone shake their naughty bits in your face in the hopes that they will want to take you in back. They also have to compete with the rest of the dancers. They want to make sure they don't miss out on the sucker with money (that used to be me!!!) The more customers they hit on - the higher the chance to get that one idiot (me) and soak him for more money!!! Lastly the areas where you can have sex at the clubs are less then ideal. I guy is going to get off one way or another and he is typically sitting down. The stripper on the other hand is not provided the most comfortable situation. Again - they want to get the deed over with. The managment doesn't care if they are comfortable, they just care that more and more customers come in. It also seems that strippers need money quicker and have more problems then providers. Many of these problems seem to have come from a man at some point or another and we are to blame for all of thier problems!!!

A provider is typically in more control of the atmosphere and while many may be providing cuts to some house - they seem to get more of the cut. A provider knows why your there and doesn't have to compete with how many others once your there. The client has already selected the provider. There is no competition and they can relax and enjoy the moment. The setting in a provider's incall or your outcall location is not a bunch of high volume techno so you can barely hear each other. Much more intiamte and allowing of time to get to know you. You are in a bedroom typically with a very comfortable bed and surrondings (unless your at the hottubs!!!) The provider can get comfortable and relax.

Guess the best way to put it is - strippes see customers and providers see clients!!! Wal Mart has customers - boutique's have clients. Wal Mart gets the money and the customer gets thier jeans. In a boutigue, it isn't just about getting the money. It is about the experince and customer service. It is making sure you are happy, see as many different options as you want and want to come back. Everyone probably gets what they want in the end - it just the approach and atmospher.

Probably more then you wanted to hear!!!

I was a regular at MSC until I found TER!!!! I used to be a customer, now I am a client!!!! (should have been in marketing hugh!!)

I used to have very little interest in strippers and now I have even less, especially after reading your analysis. Obviously you know a thing or two about the subject, and yes; you should have gone into marketing:)

The club really seems like  harder life for the girls, for the same, or less money. I'm often perplexed by the decisions people make for their own lives. I've never been to MSC, and I want to go once, just for the experience of being a customer there, but you can keep the strippers, I'll remain a client.

In a strip club, no matter how pretty a stripper is, there are moments that she will be rejected by a bunch of men in the club.  There are various reasons.  The men might just be out of money or were waiting for their favorite girl finished dancing.  All these rejections days in days out are very hard on anyone’s ego which in turn caused lots of stripper to hate most men.  No wonder, there are lots of lesbians in the stripper trade.
