I read all ten on the first page of her profile, and all of the reviewers liked her and said they would see her again (one says "maybe" he would).

Did you just look at the numbers and assume that, because they're not ALL 9s and 10s, that the reviewers panned her?

The review guidelines are:

  6 = "nice" or "nice time"
  7 = "attractive" or "hot time"
  8 = "really hot" or "went the extra mile"

Those are all GOOD to VERY GOOD.

Also, a lady has no obligation to post a link to her reviews in her posts here. There are reasons she might not that have nothing to do with whether she thinks they're good or not. Other people may post the link, of course. But, your erroneous comment was thoughtless and potentially damaging.

I only said 'No Endorsement' because I haven't seen Amoni myself.  I didn't say 'Take a Pass'.  I only provided the link because I thought it would be helpful to both the guys here and to the provider in question.

How is it not wrong. He could have simply said he did not see me. Saying no endorsment makes it sound like a warning and a stay away, and the she should have post this herself gives the reason why he is telling guy's not to see me. That was not helpfull as he is claiming he was trying to be. My reviews are linked just fine from my website and I do not have to post a link in my schedule just so guy's don't have to do thier home work. Finding my TER reviews are as simple as clicking on my profile or the link from my website. Even if he did have something to say it would have been better off in another thread.

You may not have seen me on the SF board before but if you do your homework you would see I am from the Michigan area and on tour in SF. I have been a member of TER for years and I have no bad reviews. If you wanted to help me you could have worded your post in a nicer way. The post hurt my biz not helped it. It seems to me you were just bored early that morning.

You are right, the reviews look fine. It doesn't seem like he was putting her down, though. If anything, he is helping her by posting her review link. Am I missing something here?

Amoni:  Calm down...all the gentlemen was doing was providing a direct link to your reviews, and indicating he had not seen you and therfor could not provide a recommendation. I think anyone who read your message and thought about seeing you would have looked at your reviews anyway.  All he did was make it a little easier.  Your inappropriate response would give me pause about seeing you even though you seem to have satisfied clients.

I didn't see anything wrong with his post and definitely did not read it as being negative. I agree the young ladies reviews are good. I have on more than one occasion added a link to   a ladies reviews when they are good. It helps the lady have a good tour and it also is a good deed to my fellow hobbyist(who are sometimes to lazy to look for themselves)

Cut Not4lng some slack here I honestly think he was trying to help her out.

The man was only trying to help and you do have good reviews. But, I got to tell you either you were having a bad day and over re-acted and that’s correctable by just saying so or you truly have an attitude problem and it came roaring out.

The Not4Long gentleman was being helpful by supplying the link to your, quite nice, reviews.  

By 'not endorsing' he was remaining neutral, since he's never seen you and has no direct expereince with you.  This does not undermine your reputation......Instead, this lets each client read your reviews and make up their own minds.  And since your reviews are apparently solid, then your business will likely prosper.

At first, I read it as negative, that "no recommendation" meant "I do not recommend".  But I re-read it since it was weird that the reviews seemed positive and understood that Not4lng was saying that he personally wasn't recommending, one way or another, just adding info to help someone else make a decision.

It indicates that the person is fair and that he does not shill. . . which is actually a positive thing for all involved.

Thank you all for your comments but I still think it was a nicer way to go about it. When I read it I took it as ngitive so did all the people that emailed me alerting me to a post that was slanderish in tone. It hurt my biz as I said in my last thread, not helped. Beyond that I never asked for any help from someone who does not know how to help in a good way. Us ladies only get to post once a week here and this thread did more harm then anything because as I said before most took it as a stay away warning.

Not seeing someone is as simple as saying I did not see her but here are her reviews. Go back and read the tone of the first post guy's.

No endorsment - she should have posted her reviews herself, as if they were bad. I have had good reviews for years all I ask is please do not post comments that are negitive or that can be mis interpeted as negitive under my post.

I don't need, want, or desire any help getting clients. I have a very good small group of client tell that enjoys my company and they are looking for me to post my availability. Nothing else matters to me but my guy's. Thier opionions and thier help are appreciated because it is done in a good way.

I may want new guy's to do thier home work on me if they intend on being a first time client. It shows effort and intrest that they took the time to find them on thier own and only makes me more appt to see the person.
I do not want to see every one that stumbles accross my reviews because someone was helpfull enough to post my reviews with my schedule.
As an FYI I have posted my reviews in my schedule before and it brings more client tell then I can handle. I am a low voulume provider which means I only see one or two people at most a day when I am working. That is the reason my reviews stay so good. I did not want the extra attention but would have appreciated it if it was done in a good way, not a hurtfull way.

Please have some understanding of where I am coming from and give me the respect I ask for next week when you see my schedule posted again next week with out my reviews as it is not my style to put my reviews with my schedule and start another thread if you would like to talk about me in a negitive way.

Due to this thread I will not be accepting new clients from TER this week. I hope you guy's understand and I hope for next week to go back to normal. Quite & Calm with out my reviews being the center of attention.

3. used to indicate shock, disbelief. or disapointment at something someone has said.

public support for somebody or something

Now is Webster lying or are you guy's just sticking up for your brother even though he was wrong about me?

All theese definitions were found right in webster - look em up for your self and no what you are saying before you write it.

Amoni, your interpretive skills need improvement.  'No endorsement' is a neutral phrase. Something like 'Don't Recommend' would be negative.  As someone earlier said, I didn't want to appear to be shilling for a provider I haven't seen.  I only made it easier for the fellas to click on your profile and see all your good reviews which you have effectively counteracted by your combative & argumentative posts.  Guys don't want to 'have to do their homework', they just want to get laid with NSA and no worries about sour attitudes.

Help or not I'd like not to have the help next week. Good or not when you get nasty emails and rude voicemails behind something posted directly under the number it is hurtfull.
Please remember not everyone took the time to click that link like the few of you did that are speaking here. A few even admited they thought it was bad until they read further. The people that thought it was bad and never took the time to read my reviews are the ones I am left to deal with because you only get one first impression and right under my first immpresion to these people that are sometimes new to the hobby is "no endorsments". Heck I have been in the hobby for years and it drew my eye browse together and made my blood boil so do you think they will know as a newbie what you vet's can say you know.
Look it up in webster - it still looks bad to a client who don't understand what you are saying and they are hanging on your every word to know who to see.

In this primary election season, a lot of politicians offer "no endorsements" to candidates of the same party (you can google "no endorsement" to check it out); surely they don't mean to be negative to members' of their own party.

If you read closely the definition you posted, "no endorsement" is not a direct opposite of "endorsement". They are used in different contexts.

Yes, try not to be a helpful member of the community - or maybe we should ask the providers what's acceptable and what's not before posting.

Choose your words wisely, or consider who you are attempting to help.

It is also interesting to note that as the replies came up clarifying the mistake in word choice, it became drama and that any trouble with client’s interests might have come from fear of reprisal.

I would guess those who might have wanted to see her should ask if it's ok to post a review, or at least have it screened for editing before posting.

So in the end it is was an error in word choice and choosing to argue about it.

A humble apology and an understanding might have sufficed.

In any case, this is a sad case and thread where no one wins but there is much to be learned from it.

I found the meaning in webster the paper back lol. Not online. Thank you all for the colorfull conversation. Lets let this thread die already. I got the fact that I mis understood him and hopefully he got the point that the term he was using could be mis interpeted by the lady in question or the hobbyiest alike.

Thank you for your responce. It was very nice and understanding of the hobby!!!!

We had the initial provider post with an unwanted assist by yours truly. We then had the dramatic retort by the provider followed by many opinions from the hobbyist community and even a rare appearance by GND.  If that wasn't enough, we all received an invaluable lesson in dictionary usage followed by some debate.  AND, in the end, we had the obligatory White Knight coming to the slobbering defense of the fair damsel in distress.
GND, we might as well retire the SF Board.  We'll never see the likes of this thread again.
