I was looking at the So Cal section of an ad site  that (ahem) thinks it's slick and that i'll call X, and noticed a very attractive lady offering Ultimate Girlfriend Experience with extra fee and testing required. And that got me thinking.

I've been in this hobby for 25 years (though much of that was in a country where it's legal, and there was a 12 year gap where I did none) and not only have I never done BBFS, though a few times I'm pretty sure it was available, the thought of it horrified me. Disease, pregnancy, just way too risky.

But now I'm hitting the age where I get constant junk mail for the AARP and I'm not so sure anymore. Maybe because in my 25 years (during which I've been careful) I've never gotten anything worse than a depleted bank account. Maybe because I don't know how many years of this I have left. But for whatever reason I feel more open to the idea. No, I haven't and no, I probably won't. But the 'OMG NO- Absolutely out of the question' reaction is much more a "Probably not a good idea, but I'd sure be tempted."
